MOTORCYCLE!

OMG!

Today, I received my first motorcycle and I must say I am BEYOND stoked about fixing this thing up!!!

Look and be amazed!!!



Alright so now that I have it, the plan of action is to clean out my garage so I have a place to work on it, and then dig in.

Since it has been sitting so long I will have to strip the engine down to the nuts and bolts most likely, and give this thing a major overhaul...the laundry list includes:

1. Tear the engine down

2. Rebuild and clean the carburetors

3. Replace and/or clean a lot of the cylinder and piston components...ie. rings and bushings.

4. Remove the gas tank, then clean and re seal it.

5. Rebuild and un-gunk the suspension systems

6. Rebuild and clean the clutch.

7. Inspect and rework the brakes, likely gonna have to get another master cylinder. Or replace the tubes and cables plus new fluid/bleed.

8. Either have a key made or replace the ignition cylinder and locks....(I really hope not)

9.Inspect the wiring harness...but that should be in good shape. Also gonna need another battery.

10. Replace the tires as well...they are long dead.

11. Replace all necessary cables wires, and test the light and signal system.

12. Final clean and inspection...removal of all growing algae things and dead hornets nests hahaha

13. Get bike license, slap on a helmet and ride that sucka!!!

And from what I gather the 92 GSXR is a missile on wheels...when I have it rebuilt the engine will have in the neighborhood of 100-120 BHP!!! Plenty of power to thrash around with :)

Okay, so there you have it...once I have the garage cleaned out next weekend and a shop manual in hand I will start in on stripping it down. I'll have a ton of pictures and plenty of status updates with this project so stay tuned!!!!

Rogue Star Cover

I dig how this came out! This is an experimental cover I did for my comic project, Rogue Star!!! The figures work well together on the page I think. And Mr.Robo guy has a cool suit design too!

Kanedas Bike is incredible!!!

And the one on the bottom was inspired by the opening scene of Lethal Weapon 4....watch it now!!!! I really like it :)

Mr.Wilson...

This was a lot of fun actually...and it was also my end of the art trade between myself and a certain Mr.O.N.P.W...who's art totally rocks my world and seems to be getting more awesome with every piece he submits.

Smile Guy

This was fun, just had to go through hell to get it scanned tho...I did it in parts and it sucked to try and correct. But I eventually found a magical way to merge photos with out having to screw with the healing tool and correcting lines left from scanning manually.

Awesome...more to come.

Sexy new airbrush

Yussss! A trip to Seattle and 120 bones later I was the proud owner of an Iwata Media Eclipse HP-BCS airbrush!

Such control and grace! It's a wonderful thing!

I'm already getting line arts ready to brush, so stay tuned folks!!!

I really need to put forth more effort into rendering my backgrounds. I mean the one on the bottom works but I have a lot of trouble with filling in solid blacks and stuff. Just looks wrong when I attempt to render it out...

What am I doing wrong?

With all this nice weather going on and no time to enjoy it, I'm feeling the need to go on a spirit journey again. It really blows...

And I gotta finish this comic book project here pretty soon. I'll try and have those up on a few weeks. So keep your eyes peeled :)

Audio bliss...I've finally built my stereo system and I am in love!!! Seriously, I almost came in my pants, these sound so great!!!

Music is enjoyed on a whole new level. I suggest you all experience it at some point or another. But once you do there is no going back.
